SCHEDULE
A schedule establishes the ground level tactical approach to the activities
necessary to complete the project to meet the required delivery date.
The Master Schedule identifies all of the necessary information for design,
permitting, procurement, owner decision making, construction, start-up,
commissioning and user occupancy. It is used to plan the resources and
deliverables to the individual users and to report to senior management
on the current and future project status.
Changes to the project that might impact the schedule are analyzed and
reviewed to determine potential delays. A recovery plan is identified
and put in place early to minimize overall schedule impacts.
